Directional drills are commonly used for the placement of fiber optic networks in urban and suburban environments. The use of this technology to place facilities in more congested corridors helps to avoid costly surface restoration. With this method of construction, most of the ground surface remains undisturbed and area traffic flow continues without interruption. Our fleet of directional drills includes rigs varying in size from small units suitable for operating in back yards, all the way up to the rigs large enough to perform major river crossings.
