Students explore a future at Michels
Do you like computers and video games? Are you interested in how and why things work? Are you good at building things? Do you like to travel?
It takes all kinds of people and skills to make Michels Corporation one of the top utility and infrastructure contractors in North America.
30 high school students explored career options.
Recently, 36 middle school and 30 high school students got a rare look inside the fence of our 100-acre yard during our third annual Career Exploration Day. In addition to seeing a variety of career opportunities for recent high school and technical school grads as well as those with more experience and education, the students learned how science, technology, engineering and math are integral to our everyday operations.
Three dozen middle school students learned about Michels.
Thank you to the students and teachers who made time to learn more about Michels. Bessie Smith (North Fond du Lac), Campbellsport, Kewaskum, Lomira, Mayville, Oakfield, Theisen (Fond du Lac), Waupun middle schools, Shepherd of the Hills School, and Campbellsport, Fond du Lac, North Fond du Lac, Oakfield, Waupun and Winnebago Lutheran high schools, we look forward to seeing you again!
"We are excited to invite students to see all of the career paths available at Michels," said Tim Michels, co-owner. "We invite people to grow with us and to explore opportunities for meaningful jobs rebuilding North America's infrastructure."
