Aiding an injured roofer
A Michels crew came to the aid of a roofer who was injured on a jobsite near theirs in North Carolina. The safety coordinator coordinator was fitting foremen for respirators when they heard a crash. One foreman called 911 while the safety coordinator attended to the severely injured man who had fallen 15 feet and sustained leg, arm, back, neck and head injuries. The crew guided emergency responders to the location, which was not readily visible from the street.
The assistance rendered by members of the Michels crew helped to assure the injured roofer reached medical attention as soon as possible. They exhibited the best qualities that Michels values in our employees.
