DCA award celebrates Michels' safety culture
Michels Utility Services, Inc. is honored to receive the 2021 Arthur T. Everham Safety Award. The Distribution Contractors Association (DCA) presents this prestigious award to contractors with exceptional safety programs. Michels Utility Services won first place among contractors working more than 1 million hours in the year.
Judging is based on an empirical analysis of reported injuries and incidents, safety and drug testing programs, and industry-standard safety metrics.

The award, presented annually since 1986, is named after Arthur T. Everham, who founded a construction company in the early 1950s to serve the oil and natural gas industries. Everham joined DCA and staunchly advocated for safety at a time when the industry was rife with hazards.
