Michels crew honored for safe work
Team records 200,000 hours without a lost-time accident
A Michels Communications crew in northeastern Wisconsin has been honored for being part of a team that has completed 200,000 hours of work on an electrical conversion project without a lost-time accident.
Congratulations to the crew for being recognized for making good on Michels’ promise to incorporate safety into everything we do. Since May 2014, Michels Communications and two other contractors have been converting an electrical distribution system from overhead to buried lines without a lost-time accident.
The project is a challenging one, requiring elevated work as well as underground plowing and boring. Reaching this milestone requires more than luck. Thank you to everyone who has been dedicated to our most important job: getting everyone home safely.
