Michels supports Salvation Army Bucket Brigade
Michels Corporation is upping the game of giving back to the community and challenging others to do the same by matching the first $15,000 of donations to the Fond du Lac Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign on Friday, Dec. 7.
The Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign benefits from the community donation drive affectionately known as “The Bucket Brigade” on Friday, Dec. 7, from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the city’s south end at Cobblestone Square located at 770 S. Main St. and the north end at 254 Winnebago Drive.
Last year Michels matched $8,000 of donations, and this year’s increased match of $15,000 has sparked a friendly competition between the two collection points for who can meet that amount first.
“My family believes in the compassionate mission of the Salvation Army,” said Pat Michels, President. “We are pleased to support the Fond du Lac Red Kettle campaign financially and by having our people take part in bell-ringing activities."
Donate $20 or more at the South end location and get a mini flashlight, while supplies last, from Michels employees volunteering with the Bucket Brigade crew.
