Miller scores a spot on Packers' program board
NFL team, Michels support small business growth
Herb Miller is a natural fit for the Green Bay Packers, and his hulking 6-foot 8-inch frame has nothing to do with it.
As Michels’ Senior Manager of Supplier Diversity and Business Development, Herb shares the Packers’ interest in helping emerging business owners take their operations to the next level of success. Herb is about to complete a year of mentoring two businesses in the Green Bay Packers Mentor-Protégé Program. Then he will join the program’s board of directors.
“This is an opportunity for me to learn about all of the businesses that are in the program and to continue to demonstrate Michels’ commitment to supporting small business growth and development,” Herb said.
Like Michels Supplier Diversity Program, the Green Bay Packers Mentor-Protégé Program focuses on developing businesses owned by minorities, women, veterans, service-disabled veterans and disabled people. The protégé business owners are paired with senior level officers in established companies and spend a year developing plans to grow their businesses.
