Sweet success - Cookies decorated, sold to benefit cancer research
Eighteen of our people volunteered to bake, decorate and box 1,400 cookies to raise money for cancer research.
Teamwork is critical to Michels, whether building a pipeline, constructing a power transmission line or raising money to help find a cure for cancer.
Eighteen of our people volunteered to spend a recent Saturday morning baking, decorating and boxing 1,400 cookies. The cookies were sold to our employees, with all proceeds going to the Michels Relay for Life Team.
It was not the first time nor will it be the last that Michels has turned cookie dough into another kind of dough to benefit the American Cancer Society.
“It just amazes me every year how will this event goes,” said Brenda Rosik, who helps coordinate the great bake each year.
