Vandaelle elected to NASTT executive committee
Trenchless technology advocate Craig Vandaelle has been appointed Officer-at-Large on the North American Society for Trenchless Technology (NASTT) Board of Directors.
Craig is General Manager of Michels tunneling operations in the United States and Canada. His vast experience includes design, inspection, construction and construction management of trenchless projects throughout North America.
He has been with Michels for 10 years and has served on the NASTT Board of Directors for two years. Additionally Craig is the acting chairman of the NASTT Northwest Chapter. These positions allow Craig to be an advocate for the trenchless construction industry.
In addition to his extensive tunneling experience, Craig has guided Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) and Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) rehabilitation projects.
He has co-authored papers for several NASTT No Dig conferences and has won awards for his projects and papers.
