As an Equipment Buyer you are responsible for assisting with managing purchases for one of North America’s largest construction contractor’s equipment inventory. You play a key role in researching, sourcing, evaluating and advising on customized equipment purchasing decisions. Critical for success is a strong attention to detail, and the ability to provide excellent customer service to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers. Strong negotiation and communication skills are a must.

What it takes:
- High School Diploma and four years of experience
- Knowledge of equipment operation and design
- Microsoft Office suite proficiency
- Negotiation experience and an understanding of contract terms and conditions
- Customer service and vendor relationship experience
- Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving records as determined by Michels review team.
