DESCRIPTION
Michels Canada is currently searching for a dedicated MTBM Electrician to join our team! The MTBM Electrician plays a key role in ensuring the successful day to day maintenance of our MTBM machines. They will also assist with ensuring a preventative maintenance plan is set up and followed to ensure minimal downtime. In this role you, your expertise will contribute to maintaining a safe and secure work environment for our employees and subcontractors while adhering to industry standards and regulations.
This position is based out of our project office located in Edmonton, AB.
RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIREMENTS
- Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (Red Seal preferred)
- 3+ years of industrial electrical experience
- Must be able to work in tight confined spaces 20+ meters below ground
- Valid class 5 drivers license and clean drivers abstract.
DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with microtunnelling is an asset
- Knowledge and experience with Herrenknecht AVN 1200 machines is an asset
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with team members and project stakeholders.
LANGUAGES
- Must be able to communicate verbally and through written language (by hand and digitally) in English.
