Safety Lead
Tunneling
Project-based, Full Time
Squamish, BC
Do you have the power to stop an entire job site if you see something unsafe? We do.
Using a 20-ton crane to move a 2-ton pipe segment is a lot like trying to get a tiger to do a trick: it’s really impressive, but everyone can see that there are a million ways this goes wrong. That’s why Michels gives every single employee a Mi Promise Coin. When they see something unsafe, whether it’s at the office, a job site, or an equipment warehouse, they are expected to throw the coin down so that everyone knows there’s an issue. You aren’t just empowered to ensure everyone gets home at the end of a hard day, you’re expected to make that real, no matter your job title or role. That’s what seriously safe means.
Michels Canada empowers your personal and professional growth, equipping you with the tools and support needed to create impactful solutions that shape a better future for others.
