As a Transportation Safety Coordinator, your key responsibilities will be to assist in facilitating and maintaining Department of Transportation (DOT) regulation compliance in office yards and project sites, as well as manage situations arising during mobilization efforts. Critical for success is the ability to be self-motivated and possess excellent written and oral communication.   The anticipated salary range is: $69,000-108,000 annually. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

What it takes:

  • Associate’s degree in related field and 3+ years year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination.
  • Education and/or experience with Motor Carrier Safety rules and regulations preferred
  • Basic knowledge of construction industry preferred
  • Experience with or knowledge on California BIT (Basic Inspection of Terminals) or CHP (California Highway Patrol) required
  • Computer proficiency
  • A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record
