Michels rehabilitated a deteriorating corrugated metal pipe culvert under a busy roadway. Michels prepared the walls and floor and completed the spray application of 3-inch Millikin Geospray geopolymer mortar to the 128-inch-by-73-inch-by-75-foot culvert. In total, 68,000 pounds of material was mixed and applied.

Michels rehabilitated a deteriorated culvert beneath the coal pile of an active power plant. Joint repairs on the culvert were completed prior to the application of a carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) wrap to reinforced and strengthened the existing culvert structure.
