As we grow to address the world’s needs for energy and infrastructure solutions, we are proud to contribute to our home state’s economic development. Michels is again ranked among the largest privately owned companies in Wisconsin, coming in at 14th on the 2022 Deloitte Wisconsin 75, a ranking of the largest private companies in Wisconsin based on sales revenue.

Michels is the largest construction company on the list.

“My family and I are very proud to be among the private-sector companies in Wisconsin having positive effects on our state and the world,” said Pat Michels, President and CEO. “Our dedicated and talented people, whether they work in Wisconsin or well beyond the borders, show the same resolve as Wisconsin in embracing change and moving forward.”

This is the 20th year Deloitte has recognized the economic and community impact of private companies, said PJ DiStefano, Wisconsin managing partner of Deloitte LLP.

“This year we will not only celebrate the individual successes of each of these organizations, but also the collective impact of private companies in powering Wisconsin’s economy and community,” DiStefano said.

This is the sixth year Michels participated in Deloitte’s voluntary survey, previously ranking15th in 2021, 16th in 2020, 14th in 2019, and 15th in 2018 and 2017.
