Fiber mainline cable being installed in rural area to provide citizens with high-speed connection

Hobson FTTP Overbuild

Michels Power, Inc. installed 169 miles of mainline fiber and services to provide high-speed fiber connection to all residents and businesses in the Hobson exchange. Installation methods included plowing, directional bores, trenching, and minor aerial work in the town of Hobson.

The Hobson exchange is roughly 900 square miles of rolling hills with a mountain range in the background. Wet weather limited ability to plow or trench in certain areas. Rock was pervasive.
