Congratulations to Mary Ausloos, office manager at our corporate headquarters in Brownsville, for reaching her 50th anniversary today! Mary started on Nov. 1, 1971, as the first and only secretary of our founder, Dale Michels. She worked by Dale’s side until his death in 1998. For the past 23 years, she has supported Pat Michels, our president and CEO, as well as other executive leaders.
Throughout the years, Mary has seen tremendous growth and change in the organization. She has completed a variety of assignments and projects, approaching each one with deference to Michel’s core values.
“Mary’s tenure is a source of great pride for the Michels family. We are so thankful to Mary for her many years of great service,” Pat Michels said. “In an industry known for change, Mary is our constant. She is incomparably dedicated to Michels and helping maintain the traditions and values so important to my father, my mother, and our entire family.”
“We are honored to celebrate Mary today and every day,” he said. Mary is the fourth person to reach a 50th anniversary as a Michels employee. She joins Ruth Michels, Jerry Eilbes, and Bob Westphal in the incredible milestone. Jerry Eilbes, Dale Michels’ first employee, continues to work in the Michels yard in Brownsville.
