Scope

Michels used the Direct Pipe methodology to install a 48-inch gas pipeline under the Rio Grande River and the border between the United States and Mexico. The 2,460-foot installation was completed in one continuous string. All equipment and personnel were located on the Texas side, which is ideal for an international crossing.
