Scope

Michels rehabilitated more than 4,400 feet of sanitary sewer lines in the downtown area of New Haven, CT. Crews navigated restricted work hours, parking regulations and traffic control. Several of the installations were in front of Yale University buildings, which prompted crews to coordinate with the university and its students to ensure minimal disturbances. The project consisted of 1,812 feet of 18-inch pipe, 412 feet of 15-inch pipe, 1,713 feet of 12-inch pipe and 495 feet of 8-inch pipe. All installations were steam cured.
