Scope
Michels Corporation was the prime contractor for the reconstruction of King Court and construction of Beechtree Lane. Michels performed the excavation, site utilities, base course placement and site restoration. For Beechtree Lane, Michels constructed 1,089 linear feet of 32-foot-wide urban road with curb and gutter. For Kings Court, Michels reconstructed 1,200 linear feet of a 22-foot-wide rural road. The project included 13,500 cubic yards of excavation; 8,600 ton of aggregate; 10,100 square yards of topsoil restoration; four manholes; six catch basins; 704 feet storm sewer pipe; 630 feet sanitary sewer; 690 feet water main and 1,500 ton of asphalt.
