Michels Canada’s President Dean Cowling was recently named CEO of the Year in recognition of his outstanding leadership and innovative safety strategies.
The WSPS Award for CEO of the Year recognizes the CEO who has driven successful safety strategies from the top of an organization by putting people first and championing innovative safety values.
Safety is the cornerstone of our company culture and our first Core Value.
“Earning this award requires a total team effort,” Dean said. “I credit the hard work and dedication of our entire team, including our field personnel, health and safety professionals, office and shop staff, senior leadership and our sub-contractors, for embracing our strong safety culture which without this award would not be possible.”
For the past three years, Michels Canada’s safety culture has been recognized by Canada’s Safest Employers. Our company and many individuals have received awards in various categories over the past several years.
