Michels Canada moves into larger GTA office

Two men stand outside a grand opening of an office with ribbon and scissors

The population in the province of Ontario is currently 15.1 million people and is projected to grow to 19 million in the next 20 years. Michels Canada is poised to upgrade and develop vital infrastructure in and around the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

Michels Canada staff recently celebrated the grand opening of Michels Canada’s fourth Canadian office in Concord, a suburban industrial district in the City of Vaughan.

Jason Squires, Michels Canada Vice President of Infrastructure and Power, and City Councillor Chris Ainsworth, Ward 4 for the City of Vaughn, kicked off the celebration with a ceremonial ribbon cutting. Michels Canada was joined by suppliers, subcontractors and customers.

Michels Canada initially established a permanent office in Ontario in 2017 to support the construction of a large pipeline project in the Greater Toronto Area. Moving to a larger office provides more room for staff and indoor shop space. With more offices, five conference rooms, the shop bays and ample shop space, the new Concord office allows us to better serve customers in Ontario and Eastern Canada.

The event was capped off with Councillor Ainsworth presenting Michels Canada with a Congratulatory Certificate signed by the Mayor of Vaughn.
