Transmission Pipelines
Michels has decades of experience constructing HDPE and steel pipelines to move valuable water resources from one point to another. Projects span hundreds of feet to hundreds of miles and can be installed using open-cut or trenchless methods.
Trenchless Methods
In addition to open-cut solutions, we provide safe, innovative trenchless techniques for underground construction with minimal surface disruptions. In the hands of our skilled operators, Michels’ enviable fleet of equipment can place pipes up to 60 inches in diameter to distances of more than 15,000 feet.

Pipeline Repair & Maintenance
We use information gathered by sophisticated inline tools to locate and carefully expose specific sections of pipe where possible defects have been identified. We then work with customers to determine a sound corrective step and make necessary repairs or replacements. Our crews use sheeting and dewatering equipment when conditions require them for safe, efficient work in an open trench.
