As an Equipment Sales Manager, your key responsibilities will be for the profitable sale of equipment inventory located across various yards that is beyond its useful life. This includes initiating sales through auctions, magazine sales, and local sales; coordinating pick-up and/or shipping, as necessary, as well as identifying and tracking saleable equipment inventory at all Michels facilities, traveling to various yards to conduct on-site assessments of equipment. Critical for success are organization and verbal and written communication skills, professionalism, and confidentiality.

What it takes:

  • Experience in equipment or auto industry
  • Basic construction equipment knowledge and experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Digital media experience; hosting online auctions (preferred)
  • Ability to travel
  • A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record.
