As a HDD Rig Hand, your key responsibility will be to work on Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) projects usually working in utility capacity, by transferring from one task to another where demands require worker with varied mid-level HDD experience to work under minimal supervision. Critical for success are the abilities to be a team player and to remain active and engaged in all work activities.

What it takes: 
 

• High School Certificate and 1-3 years of experience working on or around HDD rigs, or similar experience 
• Australian Construction Induction Card (or ability to obtain) 
• Certificates in Drilling (or ability to obtain) 
• Additional licensing such as excavator, forklift, heavy truck, etc. Excavator ticket strongly preferred 
• Must be eligible to work in Australia 
• Ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment drug and alcohol screen and police check.
