Sean Nicholson, Michels Vice President of HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment and Quality), has been appointed Chair of the INGAA (Interstate Natural Gas Association of America) Foundation.
The INGAA Foundation was established in 1990 by the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America to facilitate the safe, efficient, reliable, and environmentally responsible design, construction, operation, and maintenance of the North American natural gas transmission system. The INGAA Foundation is composed of more than 175 member companies and is regarded as the premier organization to represent and convene the full value chain of the gas infrastructure and additional complementary clean energy solutions.
Sean has more than 25 years of industry experience, 17 of which in developing a robust global HSEQ strategy for Michels, one of North America’s largest, most diversified energy and infrastructure contractors. Along with his team and Michels leaders, he develops and deploys corporate strategies and policies to support Michels’ primary Core Value of Safety as the cornerstone of the company’s culture.

Sean has been actively involved with the INGAA Foundation since 2008, including serving and leading various committees, developing best practices, and presenting at conferences and meetings. He most recently served as Vice Chair before being appointed Chair.
