Day starts with a roundup
Pigs love mud. Cows? Not so much.
When a Michels crew was about to start its workday at a jobsite in Montgomery, Minn. following a deluge of rain the night before, crew members noticed a cow stranded in a farm field with water up to its neck. Apparently the animal had gotten swept away by rushing water the night before and had gotten stuck in mud, said Superintendent Troy B. Before resuming the job of setting wooden mats at a construction site, the resourceful crew members used a telescoping lift to reach the animal, put a rope around its neck and lead it to dry ground.
