Michels Pipeline, Inc. built a greenfield station including four 6,500 HP pumps powered by four electric motors to transport oil through the Keystone XL Pipeline. Major equipment installation included a 3,000-gallon sump tank, a re-injection pump, electrical equipment shelter, variable equipment shelter, field service building, emergency generator, and a pig trap launcher and receiver.

The scope included approximately 16,000 weld inches of pipe fabrication, hydro-testing, approximately 130 tons of structural steel fabrication & erection, 211 driven steel pipe piles and 1,800 cubic yards of cast-in-place concrete foundation installation, epoxy grout for skid alignment and leveling, and complete electrical and instrumentation install.
