One of Michels Power, Inc.’s crew was setting up residential underground electrical distribution equipment near a bike trail in Madrid, IA, when a bike rider asked the crew to help another rider who was down on a trail, struggling in the heat.
The crew safely shut down its jobsite and drove a pickup truck a half-mile down the trail, helped get the woman and her bike into the air-conditioned truck, gave her water, drove her to her car, and stayed with her until she was feeling well enough to drive home.
