As an Industrial Hygienist your key responsibilities will be to conduct job-site visitations, audits inspections and evaluations of facilities and job locations, in order to identity potential health hazards. This position will assist operations in complying with Federal regulations and Michels HSE programs regarding Industrial Hygiene. Critical for success is the ability to work independently and strong attention to detail while working in a fast paced environment.

What it takes:

  • 3-5 years of experience in workplace environmental/industrial inspections or related experience
  • OSHA 30hr for construction certification, or ability to obtain within approved timeframe
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record as determined by Michels Review Team
  • Ability to travel, with minimal lead time, in response to HSE needs
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or Safety related degree (desired, not required)
  • OSHA 10hr and/or 510 or 500 (desired, not required)
  • Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) (desired, not required).
