As a Senior Engineer you will directly develop and/or manage the development of engineering submittals (calculations, drawings) for our design/build projects, to include being the Engineer of Record when appropriate. Projects will typically be geo-structural in scope, consisting of earth retaining structures and deep foundations. Critical for success are an acute attention to detail, pro-active in completing tasks, effective communication skills, and the ability to mentor others.

What it takes:
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree (preferred) in civil engineering with an emphasis in structural engineering, 8+ years of related experience or equivalent combination
- Experience designing earth retaining structures and/or deep foundations preferred
- General proficiency in AutoCAD 2D is a plus
- Structural Engineer (SE) license in the state of Illinois or ability to obtain one via comity within 3 months
- Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record
